My first album in 2023! A lot of work went into this to make sure I was as proud of this as possible. I hope it plays well to you.

Story of Ambi

Ambivalence - This track implies feelings of ambivalence, sadness and hopefulness. It is an emotional track - it is an expression of having mixed feelings about feeling stuck in life, what to do, which direction to go in etc. and this is a cry out of feelings wanting life to have a sense of resolution rather than ambiguity.

Journey - You are walking where your imagination leads you on your journey because you have to take steps forward instead of feeling sorry for yourself. I imagine myself walking through calm woods, with a clear starry night, reminiscing of past times that brought joy and enjoying all emotions that come with it.

Coming Back - After the journey, you encounter another set of crossroads. All of the sounds are repetitive and minimal - like an unsettled section of a film/drama series. Coming back is a contradiction to the initial intentions set out in “Journey”

Longing - There is no peace after “coming back” and so this is a track that is meant to help the listener be at peace with the prospect of having to start all over again. I imagine the person in this story, to be at the seaside, contemplating the overthinking mind.

If It Makes You Happy - After realising there is no conclusion, you come to the realisation that all you need to do in life is what makes you happy, so if it makes you happy, you’re probably on the right path. This is a concluding piece combining a mixture of sounds and textures from the previous 4 tracks.
