This record is a cross between ASMR (A Sound Music Record), ambient and field-styled recording; recorded using (very tiny) hand-made omnidirectional condenser microphones adapted for field recording & sound design.

About the tracks
Burning candle - an experiment to capture the evening candle burn whilst using and old audio interface to create soothing rain-like noise.

Marimba Tones MKII - version two of attempted recording of my Adams marimba. the mics were placed directly above the lowest A resonator, where I aimed to capture the resonating tones. not strictly ASMR but if you let your ears hook onto the overtones, you'll find yourself hooked in flow state.

Suburban writing - I enjoy simple sounds that you can listen to all day. I took an "everyday life" approach by capturing me writing in pencil, literally as if you're listening to a sound that should be annoying yet, is rather quite relaxing.
